Dream Gazette #26

Morning Of Sunday, March 13, 2011:

I am not watching a film or television special, but the life of Tan "The Pizza Faced Man" Stimmin is played before me.

In the early 1910s, Tan grew up with average looks. After several unsuccessful Hollywood auditions, he decided to change his appearance to stand out. Once a day, he would grill his face and soothe it with butter. Eventually, his facial skin developed a bumpy, mountainous complexion, yet was soft to the touch. He took a pizza cutter (before they were invented?) to his face, creating 8 "slices". He worked as an actor steadily until his death at age 94.
