Morning Of Monday, December 31, 2007:

A football game is being played at the Pine Island track, and everyone who has ever lived in Pine Island is in attendance. Near the field, a bunch of small children have discovered a soft substance on the ground that makes one bounce as if one was on a trampoline. Everybody gradually discovers this material and eventually the whole town is bouncin' around. A group of helicopters shows up to announce that the football field is going to be covered by a large transparent glass tray. It is announced that everyone with a four-digit number on a card can step out from under the tray and not be trapped. Brother Gabe has card #5225 and Kevin Boser has card #2552. I am without a card, but I step out from under the tray anyway. Somehow the helicopters know I don't have a card and immediately begin to chase me. I run like crazy and happen upon some marathon runners. I manage to pass all of them, break the marathon ribbon, and evade the helicopters.
